The AFK Pool

Need to step away but still want your Gold ticking up? Head to the AFK Pool at spawn (/warp afk). Jump in, let the current carry you around, and you'll earn Gold passively the whole time you're floating.

The AFK Pool at spawn
The AFK Pool at spawn. Hop in and drift for passive Gold.

How It Works

  • Passive Gold. The pool pays out a lump sum when you leave, based on how long you spent drifting. No clicking required.
  • It scales with your rank. Higher ranks earn more gold per minute, so the pool gets sweeter the further you climb.
  • AFK mark. You are flagged as AFK after 5 minutes of no input. The pool still pays regardless.
  • To exit: sneak and you'll hop out. Your full payout lands in your wallet when you leave.

Pool time isn't playtime

Time spent in the AFK Pool does not count toward your /playtime, so it won't fast-track playtime-gated rankups. It's for the Gold, not the clock.

Gold Per Minute by Rank

Every rank earns a different rate. The pool pays this amount per minute you spend floating:

RankGold / Min
Hatchling2
Wanderer4
Explorer6
Commoner8
Farmer10
Merchant12
Artisan14
Noble16
Bishop18
Monarch20
Emperor22
Eternal24

An Eternal rank player earns 12 times what a fresh Hatchling does. Ranking up pays off at the pool too.

AFK Trails

Spend enough time in the pool and you unlock cosmetic particle trails that follow you while you swirl. Trails require both a total AFK minutes threshold and a sessions threshold. You need to hit both numbers.

TrailMinutes AFK (total)Sessions Required
FlameDefault (unlocked from the start)
Heart305
Villager6010
Enchanted12020
Cloud18030
Music30050
Redstone48075
End Rod720100
Dragon Breath1,440150

Both conditions required

Minutes and sessions are independent requirements. Logging 1,440 minutes in a single marathon session won't unlock Dragon Breath. You also need 150 separate pool visits.

Commands
