Pinata Party

The Pinata Party is the Cove's server-wide vote event. When the community hits 50 votes, a pinata spawns at spawn and everyone who voted gets a shot at it for loot.

It's powered entirely by voting, so the more the server votes, the more often the party kicks off.

How It Works

Your votes feed a server-wide goal of 50 votes that everyone shares. When the community hits it, the Pinata Club opens and a server-wide announcement fires the moment it does.

Want to see how close the goal is? Check it at spawn under the vote crate, or head straight to the club with /warp Pinata (it sits just below Alfred's apple stand).

The catch: only players who voted get the invite. So voting is partly selfish (free loot) and partly heroic (you help throw the party for everyone).

Pinata Mechanics

The pinata is not a punching bag with infinite HP. It scales with the server and goes down fast.

• HP formula: 3 + (3 x players online), capped at 50 total hits
• Hits per player: 1. You get exactly one swing.
• Time limit: the pinata despawns after 5 minutes if it survives that long.

With 10 players online the pinata has 33 HP. With 16 or more it caps at 50.

Joining the Party

Once the goal is hit:

1. Watch for the server-wide announcement that the Club is open.
2. Find the bouncer at spawn. He teleports voters down into the party.
3. Inside, whack the pinata (yes, it's a llama) for your hit.

Last hit is different

Whoever lands the final hit on the pinata gets a guaranteed reward on top of the normal roll: a 20,000 Gold pouch and the Pinata Winner chat tag. Land the killing blow and you walk out with both.
