Pets & Eggs
Every wanderer in Paradise Cove deserves a companion. Pets are loyal little friends that trail behind you as you explore, mine, and build, and the right one will even fight at your side. From buzzing critters to stranger things hatched at Ivy's incubation stand, your pet is both a badge of your journey through the Cove and a genuine ally.

What Are Pets?
Pets are companions with custom models that follow you around the world. Plenty are happy to simply look good and keep you company, but many are more than decoration: you can feed them to earn experience, level them up, and certain companions will fight alongside you, giving you a real edge in combat. You can summon, swap, and dismiss them whenever you like.
Open your collection with /pets to see every companion you've unlocked and pick which one walks beside you.
More than a mascot
Don't write your pet off as decoration. Feed it to gain experience and raise its level, and bring a combat-capable companion along to fight for you. A well-fed, high-level pet is a genuine advantage, not just a good look.
Rarities and Max Levels
Pets come in four rarities. Rarity sets the ceiling for how far you can level a pet:
| Rarity | Max Level |
|---|---|
| Common | 5 |
| Rare | 10 |
| Epic | 15 |
| Legendary | 20 |
A Legendary pet has four times the growth room of a Common one. Higher rarity also means more impressive base stats and abilities.
Eggs & Incubation
You don't just find most pets. You hatch them. Pets come from eggs, and every egg must be incubated before it becomes a companion.
Getting Eggs
Eggs turn up across the Cove for players who stay active:
- Crates: keys give a chance at eggs across all four rarities. Drop rates: Common 1.01% (Common crate), Rare 1.10% (Rare crate), Epic 1.07% (Epic crate), Legendary 1.77% (Jartonite crate).
- Dungeon bosses: boss loot pools include eggs for players who push through the harder content.
The rarer the egg, the rarer the drop. Legendary eggs are genuinely uncommon.
How to Hatch: JartonIncubator (Paid, Fast)
The JartonIncubator at Ivy's area at spawn is the standard hatching route. It costs gold and nectar upfront, but the wait is shorter.
Costs and times:
| Rarity | Gold Cost | Nectar Cost | Incubation Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 35,000 | 5 | 6 hours |
| Rare | 225,000 | 250 | 36 hours |
| Epic | 500,000 | 500 | 4 days |
| Legendary | 1,000,000 | 800 | 8 days |
- Hold your egg and right-click the incubation stand to open the hatching menu.
- Confirm the cost. Gold and nectar are taken when you begin.
- Your egg floats and spins above the stand. A display shows its name, star rating, progress bar, and time remaining.
- Go play. Incubation runs in real time; log off if you like.
- When the timer hits zero the egg reads completed. Right-click the stand to collect your new pet.
- Your companion now lives in
/pets, ready to summon.
No refund on cancel
If you cancel an incubation, your egg returns to you. The gold and nectar spent to start are not refunded.
Your egg, your stand
Every player has their own egg slot on the stand. Several people can hatch at the same time, and you only ever see your own egg.
How to Hatch: Ivy's Free Route (Free, Slower)
Don't have the gold or nectar? Talk to Ivy directly and surrender the egg to her. She will incubate it for free at roughly half the speed of the paid route. There is no nectar skip or speed-up option on this path.
| Rarity | Ivy's Free Time |
|---|---|
| Common | 2 hours |
| Rare | 12 hours |
| Epic | 2 days |
| Legendary | 4 days |
The trade-off is straightforward: save your resources and wait longer, or spend to cut the time.
Leveling Your Pet
Feed your pet Pet Candy to give it experience. Each Pet Candy grants +750 XP.
XP thresholds to reach each level milestone:
| Level | Total XP Required |
|---|---|
| 2 | 100 |
| 5 | 1,600 |
| 10 | 9,100 |
| 15 | 22,850 |
| 20 | 42,850 |
Stats scale with level. A pet at its max level has significantly higher damage output and health than at level 1 (damage/power grows from 1.0 at L1 to 3.95 at L20; HP grows from 250 to 830). Leveling a Legendary pet to 20 takes more XP in total, but the payoff is proportionally greater.
Selling Eggs
If you have an egg you don't want to hatch, you can sell it back to Ivy. Sellback prices:
| Rarity | Sellback Price |
|---|---|
| Common | 10,000 gold |
| Rare | 60,000 gold |
| Epic | 200,000 gold |
| Legendary | 400,000 gold |
Sellback is useful if you already have the pet a duplicate egg would hatch, or if you need the gold more than the companion.
Pets in the Story
Your companions aren't an afterthought in Paradise Cove's tale. The main questline finale itself points you toward /pets, a fitting reward for everything you've survived to reach it. Hatch wisely; you'll want a good one by your side when the story closes.
