Conduct

Our rules are in place to ensure a friendly, fair, and fun experience for all members of the JartonMC community.

👥 Basic Conduct (Community)

Rule	Description
1. Respect Everyone	Be respectful to everyone—no harassment, bullying, or hate speech. Resolve conflicts maturely or ask staff for help.
2. Keep it Family-Friendly	Keep chat and builds family-friendly (no NSFW, overly graphic, or offensive content).
3. No Impersonation	Don't pretend to be staff members or another player.
4. No Excessive Spam	Don't spam, use excessive caps lock, or flood chats/commands.

⚖️ Gameplay & Fairness

Rule	Description
1. No Cheating	No hacks, cheats, or exploits (x-ray, fly, speed hacks, etc.) are allowed.
2. Report Bugs	Report bugs and exploits immediately using /ticket—do not abuse them.
3. One Main Account	One main account per person. Alt accounts must be approved by staff before use.
4. No Griefing/Stealing	No griefing or stealing from other players' claims or unprotected builds.
5. PvP Zones	PvP is allowed only in designated areas. Do not engage in unsolicited combat elsewhere.

🏗️ Building & Economy

Rule	Description
1. Build Separation	Build at least 100 blocks away from other players' claims unless you have their explicit permission.
2. Appropriate Builds	No inappropriate builds, signs, or symbols anywhere on the server.
3. Economy Abuse	Don't duplicate items, exploit, or abuse the economy system.
4. Fair Shops	Shops must have fair prices; scamming other players is not allowed.
5. Clean Up	Clean up temporary builds, and do not leave floating trees (tree-capitator issues, etc.).

🔧 Redstone, Contraptions & Automation

Rule	Description
1. No Flying Machines	Automated or redstone-powered flying machines used to move blocks, farms, or players are prohibited.
2. No Item Transport Exploits	Nether portal minecart loaders and ender pearl stasis chambers are not allowed.
3. No Teleport Traps	Teleport traps are prohibited.
4. No AFK Farming	No idle AFKing for advantages, autoclickers, or automation to farm, mine, grind mobs, or collect resources while away. Progression must happen while you are actively playing.

💬 Chat & Communication

Rule	Description
1. Global Chat Language	English only in global chat (use /msg or party chat for other languages).
2. No Advertising	No advertising other servers, Discord links, or communities in public chat.
3. No Begging	Don't ask staff for ranks, items, special treatment, or unban requests.
4. Discord Channels	Use appropriate channels in Discord (e.g., questions in general, bugs in the ticket channel).
5. Public Drama	No drama or arguments in public chat. Resolve conflicts privately or seek staff assistance.
